At the Christmas festive board after our last meeting of the year, we were entertained by four young members of the Ulster Scots Pipe band.
The W Master wished the Brethren and their families a Very Happy Christmas, and a Prosperous and Healthy New Year.
Gillian Cordner and W.Bro. Gary Connolly, two newlyweds from County Antrim, knew they had to do something special on their wedding day.
So after their marriage on Friday morning in Carrickfergus, County Antrim, they decided to the bypass the usual hotel reception, dinner and dancing.
They had a better idea – a full marathon.
A very successful and enjoyable evening was had by all the guests at our Ladies Night Charity Dinner & Dance on Friday 13th October at the Park Avenue Hotel, Belfast.
An excellent dinner was served, and the music had everyone dancing.
Generous donations for received for the W. Master’s chosen charity Autism N.I
Congratulations to W. Bro. David Beggs and his team who organised the event.
In September W. Bro. Brian McBride visited an English Constitution Lodge in Singapore – The Lodge of St. George No.1152, consecrated in 1867.
For nearly 150 years, the Lodge of St. George has played a prominent part in the development of Freemasonry in S.E. Asia. Today, its members pride themselves on maintaining the Lodge’s rich traditions passed down through many generations. The Lodge is characterised by its warmth and the friendship shared by its members who span all age groups, ethnic and social backgrounds.
Our W. Bro. Secretary was very well received by the Brethren of Lodge 1152 and he enjoyed a wonderful Fellow Craft degree, followed by an excellent, and a very enjoyable festive board. He ‘sang for his supper’ and in replying to the Junior Warden Bro. Bruce Blanckley’s generous toast to the visitors, he complimented the W. Master and Brethren on a first class evening and brought fraternal greetings and very best wishes from our W. Master and Brethren.
A cordial invitation was offered to any Brother travelling to Belfast welcoming them to visit our Lodge.

At our Stated Communication 27th May 2017, the W. Master, Wardens and Brethren of Lodge 669 presented our Hall caterer Florence Galaway, and Steward Tom Gardiner with a gift to mark their retirement from Arthur Square Masonic Hall, Belfast, after almost 30 years service to Lodge 669, and all the Lodges meeting there.
We wish them a long, happy and healthy retirement
